The SNAP 2018 notification has been released and the exam has been scheduled on 16th December 2018. SNAP 2018 registration process already begins and is open till 26th November 2018. Candidates who are applying for the exam must know the exam pattern and syllabus to excel in the exam. As earlier SNAP was held in the conventional pen paper mode. However, SNAP 2017 was conducted online for the first time.
In parallel with the announcement of the SNAP 2018 application process, the authorities have made some changes in the SNAP 2018 exam pattern.
Important changes in SNAP 2018 Exam Pattern-
In contrast to the IIM-CAT exam that does not have a negative marking for non-multiple choice questions, the 2018 SNAP scoring scheme has a 25% negative marking on both multiple choice and non-multiple choice questions. However, the maximum score assigned to SNAP 2018 remains the same at 150 marks as it was till last year. It should be noted that there are 110 normal questions and 20 special questions in the modified 2018 SNAP exam pattern.

SNAP 2018 Test Centers Reduced
As this year the SNAP 2018 test centers have been reduced to 92 from 102 i.e. in last year. Applicants who are applying for SNAP 2018 exam should carefully select the test centers of their preferred choice. Applicants need to apply as soon as possible so that they can get their choice of test center.
Things to know about SNAP 2018
· There will be no individual sectional cut-off in SNAP 2018.
· Sections can be in any order in the exam paper.
· There will be no sectional constraint. Candidates can switch between different sections.
· There will be no sectional time limit.
SNAP 2018 registrations have begun and applicants who are willing to apply for the exam must fill and submit the application form before the deadline to avoid rejection. SNAP 2018 admit card will be allotted to those applicants who register successfully for the exam.
