IIM Lucknow has announced the result of CAT 2017 at 11.40 AM on January 8, 2018. The CAT 2017 Result is available online and the candidates can access the same from this article. To check the result and download CAT 2017 scorecard, the candidates are required to enter their login credentials. The result is available in online mode only. There is a possibility that the result can be sent via SMS to the candidates like last year. The scorecard furnishes the sectional and total scaled score & percentile obtained by the candidates. CAT 2017 was held on November 26, 2017, in forenoon and afternoon session across 138 cities. According to the reports, more than 2 lakh candidates took the test. Using the CAT score, the candidates will be able to take admission to 20 IIMs and over 100+ B-Schools of the nation. On the basis of the CAT 2017 percentile, the admission criteria announced by the IIMs and the CAT 2017 Cutoff, the candidates will now be short-listed for the next level of selection. The criterion for short-listing the candidates for further rounds of admission varies from IIM to IIM. The candidates who will be shortlisted will be sent an interview letter. Also, a list furnishing the names of the shortlisted candidates will be published on the official websites of the respective B-Schools. 

How to check CAT Result 2017 and download scorecard?

The candidates must follow the below-listed steps for obtaining their result.

1.  Visit Official Website https://iimcat.ac.in to check your CAT 2017 Result.

2.  Enter your CAT login details correctly, CAT 2017 User ID and Password. Then, click on the button “Login” for logging in and checking your result.

3.  Upon successful login, search for the respective link to download the CAT 2017 Result cum scorecard and click the same.

4.  On clicking, the result will be displayed on the screen and candidates must download the same.

5.  Open the downloaded result file in any PDF reader software and take its printout on an A4 sized sheet for future reference. Keep the downloaded copy saved till the admission process is completed.
