CMAT 2017 Results are released! AICTE has announced the All India Merit List of applicants who took Common Management Admission Test CMAT-2017, which held on 28th 2017. Overall, 60 thousand applicants participated in the exam.
So finally, CMAT result 2017 is out, candidates can download their electronic scorecard from now onwards by giving various details that is required to login to your ID and you may be able to download the scorecard. The scorecards you can download through the site from 9 Feb to 8 March. As AICTE has already announced that the authority is not going to provide a hard copy of the scorecard, you just have to download your scorecard from the website.
CMAT MERIT LIST
As the CMAT Merit List is already declared on 8th of Feb, so only two students SARAS SUHANE and LAGNAJIT DAS have scored 100 percentile and other six after them have secured 99.99 percentile which is actually a great achievement to all of them and definitely they all are going to occupy a good and top college of management in India that are accepting CMAT Score.
Suppose there is a situation like more than one candidate have scored same number of score all over India then the ranking would be totally depends on the section wise scores in which the candidate must have to clear the sectional cutoff. The sectional that would be considered in the order: Quantitative aptitude and Data Interpretation; Logical Reasoning; Language Comprehension; General Awareness. And even after all this aspects the score is same in any case then the ranking is considered on the basis of names alphabetically.

There is a formula through which candidate can calculate his or her percentile and score:
Percentile P= ((N-Rank of the candidate)/ N) x 100

CMAT 2017 PROCEDURE
1. Download your scorecard: First of all download your scorecard immediately through the authorized website from 9th Feb to 8th March. Candidates itself has to download the scorecard AICTE is not going with particular candidates. Download your scorecard from http://www.aicte-cmat.in .
2. Use CMAT score to apply in different colleges: The next step that a candidate has to follow is use your scorecard to apply in colleges in which you are interested to apply for. Please note that the admission authorities and institutions are free to take their decision, so your score not only depends for your admission there are some other criteria too that you need to follow that are all set by the institution.
3. Don’t try to submit fake percentile or score: Please make sure that the score that your are submitting is actual and not fake because once it is traced that the score and percentile that you have provide is not matched with your actual percentile that it would be problematic to you and only you have to bear for that.
4. Contact B-Schools for further steps: Once you have submitted your scorecard in various colleges then be in touch with the college so that you may know the admission status of yours. The B-schools will conduct a personal assessment round personal interaction and group discussion. So keep in touch with admission department.
