ABOUT IRMA:
Dr. Verghese Kurien, known as the ‘Father of the White Revolution in India’, founded IRMA in 1979 at Anand, Gujarat with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the Government of India, Government of Gujarat, the erstwhile Indian Dairy Corporation and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). It is focusing on creating management professionals who can bring about the change by applying their management acumen at the grass root level while influencing the public policy narrative at a national and a global level. Creating management professionals who can bring about sustainable, ecologically-friendly and equitable growth.
IRMA highlights:
1.Merit Based Calls - The Applicants of General Category, who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2019/XAT 2020 comes under the eligibility criteria to short list for IRMASAT and GA and PI process.
2. Profile-cum-Merit Based calls - The Applicants for General Category, who score above 80 percentile in CAT 2019/XAT 2020 and comes under the Profile-based-call eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for IRMSAT and GA and PI process.
The key criteria to shortlist the applicants based on profile are:
(i) Excellence: Graduation from top institutes and colleges.
(ii) Working Experience in Community Development, Social Impact, Policy and Advocacy, Livelihoods, Agriculture and Allied Sectors.
(iii) Graduation in Development Studies, Agriculture and Allied Sciences and Social Sciences.
Cut off for the applicants of reserved categories will be decided separately at
appropriate time.
Shortlisted applicants will be called for selection process at IRMA where they will have to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2020 (IRMASAT 2020), Group Activity and Personal Interview. IRMASAT 2020, GA and PI process will be conducted at IRMA.

Selection Process of IRMA Courses:

There are two ways in this course to select the candidates:
(i) Excellence: Graduation from top institutes and colleges.

The admission to PGDRM 2020 is OPEN.
The application process at Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is open from September 27,2019.The last date to apply for admission will be January 10,2020. IRMA offers the option to the candidates for short listing based on profile or based on their CAT/XAT exam scores for final selection round. The application method is online and the application fee is Rs.1500/-. After the short listing, candidates need to appear in IRMASAT and GD-PI process.

A. The form can be filled online only because the submission of application and supporting documents can be done in online mode only.

A. A candidate has to log in using his/her form number and date of birth on the Official Website . After the submission of these two details, the admit card of IRMA 2020 will appear on the screen.

A. Yes, there is negative marking in every incorrect answer by -0.25.

A. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline to apply for PGDRM and PGDMX(R). For admission in FPRM, candidate should have a postgraduate degree or any equivalent degree.
Q. How IRMA final Result is prepared?
A.After the completion of the Written Test, Personal Interview and Group Activity IRMA declare the final result of the candidates. Firstly, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the CAT / XAT and other exam scores. Then, weightage is given to IMRA online test, GD and PI.
Q. What is the selection process of IRMA?
A. After the online test, the candidates who will be selected based on the weightage given to marks obtained in either CAT OR XAT and IRMA Online Test. The weightage will be distributed as follows. 80% marks shall be given if the candidate has appeared for CAT OR XAT, then 20% marks will be given to marks obtained in IRMA ONLINE TEST.

A.Candidates can check their IRMA Result by entering their Application Form Number and Date of Birth which must be the same as given at the time of the Registration.
Q.Which documents are required for IRMA 2020 application form?
A. Candidates shall have a valid email ID, phone number, scanned copy of photograph and signature, scanned copy of 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificate, birth certificate, income certificate, community certificate, and reservation certificate (if applicable).
