The key criteria to shortlist the applicants based on profile are:

(i) Excellence: Graduation from top institutes and colleges.

(ii) Working Experience in Community Development, Social Impact, Policy and Advocacy, Livelihoods, Agriculture and Allied Sectors.

(iii) Graduation in Development Studies, Agriculture and Allied Sciences and Social Sciences.

 

Cut off for the applicants  of reserved categories will be decided separately at

appropriate time.

 

Shortlisted applicants will be called for selection process at IRMA where they will have to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2020 (IRMASAT 2020), Group Activity and Personal Interview. IRMASAT 2020, GA and PI process will be conducted at IRMA.

 

Courses Offered :

The three main courses offered by IRMA are:

1. PGDRM:  2YEARS Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management

2. FPRM: Fellow Programme in Rural Management

3. PGDMX(R): Post Graduate Diploma in Management

 

Selection Process of IRMA Courses:

1. PGDRM( Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management)

There are two ways in this course to select the candidates:

• Merit Based Calls:  The Applicants of General Category, who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2019/XAT 2020 comes under the eligibility criteria to short list for IRMASAT and GA and PI process.
• Profile-cum-Merit Based Calls: The criteria to short list the candidates on the basis of Profile are:

 (i) Excellence: Graduation from top institutes and colleges.

(ii) Working Experience in Community Development, Social Impact, Policy and Advocacy, Livelihoods, Agriculture and Allied Sectors.

(iii) Graduation in Development Studies, Agriculture and Allied Sciences and Social Sciences.

 

The candidates who are selected as per the criteria above are called for selection process at IRMA where they will have to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT), Group Activity and Personal Interview.

 

2. FPRM(Fellow Programme in Rural Management)

The selection process of this course is as follows:

• Apply with CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, UGC-JRF/NET, CSIR JRF/NET, ICAR-SRF, or the ICAT ASRB-NET scores.
• The screening of applications will be done by the designated selection committee of IRMA on the basis of multiple parameters like  test scores, academic qualification,  research proposal  and reservation.
• As per the screening the students are selected and called for the personal interview (PI).
• The final selection includes the presentation of the research proposal and personal interview.
• If it's necessary the selection committee may conduct a short written test for those who are called for PI to assess their analytical and communication abilities.
• The decision of the selection committee concerning the process and criteria is final.

 

3. PGDMX(R) (Post Graduate Diploma in Management)

Candidates can check below the selection process of this course:

• Apply with CAT/XAT/GMAT scores
• Selected candidates are called for Group activity and/or Personal Interview.

 

Eligibility Criteria for IRMA 2020 Courses:

 The candidate must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the courses of IRMA.

Each course has different eligibility criteria.

1. Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM)

• The applicant should have Bachelor's degree from any discipline.
• The applicant must have gain 50% (45% for SC/ST /DAP ) marks.
• The applicant must have appeared for CAT or XAT.
• The applicants who's Graduation will get complete before June 2019 may also apply.

 

2. Fellow Programme in Rural Management(FPRM)

• Any Candidate with a postgraduate or postgraduate equivalent degree/diploma from a recognized university or institution in any discipline.
• The Candidate with  55% or equivalent grade (50% for SC/ST /DAP ) can apply.
• The applicants who's final exams of these degrees will get complete before July 01 may also apply.
• The candidate must have a valid score of  CAT/GMAT/XAT/GRE/UGC-JRF/NET CSIR-JRF/NET/ICAR-SRF/ICAR/ASRB-NET/GATE.

 

3. Post Graduate Diploma in Management(PGDMX(R))

• The applicant should have Bachelor's degree from any discipline.
• The applicant must have gain 50% (45% for SC/ST /DAP ) marks.
• The candidate will get Admission on the basis of the candidate having a valid score of either CAT/XAT/GMAT or Mini GMAT.
• The candidate should have at least five years of post-qualification full-time work experience in Managerial/Supervisory position.

The admission to PGDRM 2020 is OPEN.

 The application process at Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is open from September 27,2019.The last date to apply for admission will be January 10,2020. IRMA offers the option to the candidates for short listing based on profile or based on their CAT/XAT exam scores for final selection round. The application method  is online and the application fee is Rs.1500/-. After the short listing, candidates need to appear in IRMASAT and GD-PI process.

A.After the completion of the Written Test, Personal Interview and Group Activity IRMA declare the final result of the candidates. Firstly, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the CAT / XAT and other exam scores. Then, weightage is given to IMRA online test, GD and PI.

 

Q. What is the selection process of IRMA?

A. After the online test, the candidates who will be selected based on the weightage given to marks obtained in either CAT OR XAT and IRMA Online Test. The weightage will be distributed as follows. 80% marks shall be given if the candidate has appeared for CAT OR XAT, then 20% marks will be given to marks obtained in IRMA ONLINE TEST.

 

Q. How can I check my IRMA Result?

A.Candidates can check their IRMA Result by entering their Application Form Number and Date of Birth which must be the same as given at the time of the Registration.

 

Q.Which documents are required for IRMA 2020 application form?

A. Candidates shall have a valid email ID, phone number, scanned copy of photograph and signature, scanned copy of 10th and 12th mark sheet and certificate, birth certificate, income certificate, community certificate, and reservation certificate (if applicable).
