PGCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria For Full Time MBA courses

  • The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution from any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the same and (45% of marks in Qualifying examination in case of SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (Reservation is applicable just for Karnataka State Candidates).
  • Final year students can also apply on a provisional basis.
  • The applicant must complete 10th and 12th from a recognized board.
  • As per the latest update, the qualifying examination (degree) obtained through distance mode would be considered for admission to MBA courses, provided the awarding University has approval from Distance Education Council (IGNOU), New Delhi.

 

PGCET Eligibility 2019 For part Time Master in Business Administration courses

In addition to the above eligibility criteria,

  • A candidate when getting the bachelor’s degree should have worked for not less than 3 years as on 31st July 2018, in an and should be operating in a corporation located within a radial distance of 40 kilometer from the institution within which the candidate seeks admission.
  • A candidate who is appearing for the final bachelor’s degree and expecting the final results is eligible to apply for the Post Graduate Common Entrance test – 2018 for admission to the full-time MBA programme.

 

PGCET Eligibility for government MBA Seats: Karnataka State Candidate

One of the subsequent three conditions has to be consummated by the candidates to become eligible as Karnataka state candidate otherwise he/she will be treated as a non-Karnataka candidate:

 

Condition-1

  • The candidate ought to have studied and passed in one or additional Government or Government recognised academic establishments situated within the State of Karnataka for a minimum duration of seven educational years commencing from first standard to Qualifying Examination either incessantly or in broken duration as on 1st July of the year during which the entrance test is conducted and should have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standard examination in a Government recognized establishments situated in Karnataka State.
  • In the case of the candidate who had taken more than one year to pass a class or standard, the years of educational study is counted as one year solely.

 

Condition-2

The candidate ought to have studied and passed the qualifying examination at intervals the State of Karnataka from an academic establishment run or recognized by the government which either of the oldsters ought to have studied in Government recognized establishments in the state for a minimum amount of seven years.

 

Condition-3

PGCET 2019: Application procedure

Candidates can apply for PGCET-2019 (MBA) examination solely through “Online”. on-line submission of application form could also be made by accessing the KEA web site. there's no offline facility to fill the application form for PGCET currently.

 

Candidates of Karnataka origin need to pay an amount of Application fee of Rs. 650/- for General and OBC. For reserved categories, the fee is Rs.500/- (SC / ST). The candidates need to pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of specified banks. The bank will retain bank copy of the Challan respectively and handover the remaining 2 copies of the Challan to the candidates. Candidates need to take the printout of the Challan copy that is in triplicate.
