What is NMAT?
NMAT is university level entrance exam for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. The exam is organized by GMAC that is Graduate Management Admission Council. NMAT is conducted for the admission to the upcoming batches that is MBA Admissions 2020. NMAT exam is computer based and is conducted in 75-day test window. Earlier the full form of NMAT was NMIMS Management Aptitude Test then GMAC acquired NMAT and it became NMAT by GMAC. The NMAT examination is the computer-based test, which is available through GMAC in a lot of participating institutes for students.
The candidates can choose the 7 colleges or schools to get admission as per their score.
NMAT is a unique MBA entrance exam on the lines of GMAT, wherein the candidate can attempt the exam thrice in a 75-day test window.
NMAT Syllabus :
The syllabus of NMAT is prescribed by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) each year.
The NMAT syllabus consists of 3 sections i.e.

NMAT Eligibility Criteria :
There are some basic factors in NMAT by GMAC eligibility criteria 2020 which candidate needs to appear in NMAT exam and they are:
1. The candidates who are applying for NMAT exam 2020 must have completed their graduation degree of at least three years duration from a recognized university.
2. Percentage of minimum marks in graduation should be as per the requirement of MBA college or equivalent CGPA.
3. There is no age limit for applying to the NMAT exam 2020.
4. Candidates can apply for NMAT 2020 irrespective of the subjects they have studied in class 12th and graduation degree.
5. Candidates currently appearing in the final year examination of graduation degree or awaiting results are also eligible for NMAT exam. However, admissions of such candidates will be on provisional basis until they submit the proof of qualifying exam and fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
6. Candidates who have completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) or are waiting for the result can also apply.
7.Mere fulfillment of minimum NMAT eligibility criteria 2020 will not ensure consideration for short listing by the institute.

FAQs :
Q. How many times can candidate register for the NMAT exam?
A. No duplicate/multiple applications are accepted for NMAT 2020 exam. Multiple registration can in fact lead to the cancellation of candidature and fee being forfeited.
Q. Is there any form correction facility for NMAT 2020 Application Process?
A. No changes except for the 'School Preference' and 'Communication Preference' fields in the application form are allowed after submission of application fee. All the particulars must be carefully cross checked before submitting the application form.
Q. What are the sections included in NMAT 2020?
A. The NMAT by GMAC exam is computer based test and gives each candidate a randomly generated test from a pool of questions, delivered one-at-a-time.

Q. Is calculator is allowed in NMAT exam ?
A. No, the calculators are not allowed in the NMAT exam since it is perceived that the calculations are doable in the test.

A. NO
The NMAT by GMAC examination is computer-delivered and provides every candidate a randomly generated test from a pool of queries, delivered one-at-a-time.
Q. Do I have to pay registration fees every time I reapply for the NMAT exam?
A. Yes you need to pay NMAT registration fee every time you retake your exam. You will be able to retake the examination 2 times after appearing it once. All the time you have to register for INR 2000. Exam rescheduling is for INR 1100.
Q. What are the NMAT exam windows?
A. The NMAT exam is conducted over 75 day period. It is divided into 5 windows in which each window is 15 days long (first and last date is inclusive in the window).
Q. What do scaled scores and percentile scores refer to in NMAT exam?
A. Here is the basic difference between scaled scores and percentile scores in NMAT:
Scaled scores – The test forms are equated to account for any difference in the overall difficulty and the raw test scores are normalized on a common scale to arrive at scaled scores.
Percentile scores - The percentile rank or score is an indicator of candidate’s score/rank when compared with the score/rank of all the other test takers.
