Q. 1 What should I do if there is a lot of postponement in getting to the page?
Speed for Registration of On-Line Application on Internet, depends on different components like Internet Speed, enormous number of candidates attempting to enlist the application simultaneously and so forth. Therefore, if you are not ready to get the pages for registrationpromptly, it would be ideal if you retry following a gap of 15 minutes or during off-peak hours during the night.
Q. 2 How would I realize that my application is registered?
Successful Registration is indicated by the Page showed after clicking the Submit Button showing the generated "XAT ID" and Password. Please note down the same carefully and safeguard it. If you do not preserve it, you will not be able to login in the Application.
Q. 3 I didn't get the email insinuation for registration of my application?
“XAT ID” and “PASSWORD” are likewise sent via automated message Email-confirmation and through Text Messages. Delivery of these emails and sms absolutely relies upon the accuracy of E-Mail ID and Mobile Number provided, Policy of your Email Service Provider to acknowledge and divert such emails under Bulk or Spam Mails or bounce back such mails without accepting it due to substantial number of emails generated by our Applications. In case of Govt. /official /company Email Ids, delivery is constrained by your Company Policies. Therefore, please do not expect replies from us, in the event that you don't get such affirmation/auto - response Emails.
Q. 4 How would I re-confirm that my application is saved?
In case of doubt about the successful Registration, candidates are advised to visit the page for Login and Print of Application, produce the Printout and save the soft copy and hard copy of the Application.
Q. 5 After filling up the complete form, I got Blank Screen / Internet got disconnected / My PC closed / hanged / shutdown. Is my application saved / registered?
Please refer to queries mentioned above. If you do not get the application printout through Re-Print option, your application is not saved. Please re-apply.
Q. 6 I didn’t get the acknowledgement / reply to my email communication?
Reply to Email Id for the Application is made for the convenience of the Candidates for veritable communications. Kindly do not use this address to send back the emails for "Acknowledgment", "Vacation Mail", "Friendship Offers", "Sales Offers" etc. Our Email Server is configured to delete such messages automatically.
Q. 7 What details should I retain while replying to auto-response emails?
While writing back by replying the confirmation emails for real issues, please retain the text containing "XAT ID" and "PASSWORD" details on the email.
Q. 8 What details should I provide while writing for the problem?
Kindly remember to give following details while writing to us: XAT Id, Mobile No., and Date Of birth & Full Name as entered in application. In the event of application failure or any error message, we might want to have the screenshot of the error in JPG, GIF format or as MS Word file. You may also give the PC Details including the Operating System like Windows XP, Vista, and Linux etc. Also Internet Browser & version (like Internet Explorer 6.0, Mozilla 3.0, and Firefox 3.5 etc.) utilized.
Q. 9 I need to change / correct the details I entered in the Application?
Applicant details cannot be edited once the application form is submitted after payment.
Q. 10 How do I apply for Fellow Programme in Management other than XAT or GMAT?

Q. 11 How do I apply for XLRI programme through GMAT?
After completing the basic and personal details candidates need to select the option through GMAT to apply for XLRI programmes.
Q. 12 What is the eligibility criteria for taking XAT 2020?
Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years term or equivalent in any discipline. Those completing their degree by August 31st, 2020 may also apply.
All Indian candidates can appear for XAT 2020. However, NRI and Foreign candidates may also apply through GMAT score.
Q. 13 I am in the final year of my graduation, what percentage should I fill in the form?
Please calculate and enter the aggregate percentage of marks obtained till the time of filling the form.
Q. 14 By Registering and paying for XAT 2020, am I eligible for XLRI and other Associate Member Institutes?
Candidates looking for XLRI needs to apply for the programmes of their preferred choice. Please note that each institution autonomously chooses the weightages to be given for each of the test components on the basis of its needs. XLRI does not play any further role in selection of the candidates in these institutes.

Q. 15 When shall I receive the XAT 2020 Admit Card?
You can download the admit card from our website www.xatonline.in20th December 2019 onwards.
Q. 16What is the duration of the test?
The duration of the test will be of three hours i.e. from 9:30am to 12.30pm on Sunday, January 5, 2020. .
Q. 17 When are XAT 2020 results out?
Results will be available on the website by 31st January 2020.
Q. 18 What do I do if I am unable to make the payment online?
Online payments include various agencies and there are chances that your payment is timed out or declined. If you encounter any such problems, we suggest you try to make the payment after some time.
Q. 19 I have done 5 years integrated course, so how will I enter my percentage?
Candidates who have completed 5 years integrated course can fill up the similar percentage for graduation and post-graduation.
Q. 20 How do I calculate the aggregate marks for CBSE /SSC. Is it the best 5 or every one of the subjects?
The candidate should take the aggregate percentage of all the subjects for 10th.
Q. 21Does internship/Article ship counted as work experience?
These are not counted as work experience
Q. 22Does the work experience before Graduation is counted?
No, it is not counted as work experience.
Q. 23 I am in the last/final year of my graduation, am I qualified to register for XLRI?
Yes, you are eligible for admission to XLRI. You need to complete your final year examination by June 10, 2020.
Q. 24 I have forgotten my XAT password, could you be able to help?
If it's not too much trouble go to the XAT Log in page and click on 'Forgot Password'.
Q. 25Will there be any sectional time limits or overall time limit?
There will be just overall time limits, there are no sectional time limits.
Q. 26Will the candidates have access to an on screen calculator?
No, the candidates won’t not be offered access to on screen calculator.
Q. 27 Will the candidates be able to choose the order of sections according to their choice?
Yes the candidates can choose any section to begin with.
Q. 28 Can the candidates switch between sections - approach to the entire question paper like a written test?
Yes.
Q. 29What happens in case of any technical glitch in the computer of some candidates?
In the unlikely case of a technical glitch the candidate will be moved to another terminal without any loss of time.
Q. 30 With sectional partitions, will the candidate be allowed to decide the order of the sections or will all the three sections will be made open to the candidate the moment the exam starts.
All three sections will be open to the candidate once the exam starts.
Q. 31 I would like to apply for XLRI Delhi Campus BM programme, how do I apply? Is there any extra fee charged?
A candidate can apply to XLRI Delhi BM Programme by clicking on BM programme and giving the preference as Delhi. There is no extra fee charged.
