IIFT 2020 Result Upload: Released on 13th December

Update:The IIFT 2020 result has been announced on 13th December 2019.

The result was scheduled to be declared on 11th December but got delayed by two days. NTA then declared in an official notice on December 12 that the IIFT 2020 result will be declared on 13th December. The NTA announced IIFT 2020 result on December 13 in evening at 8pm onwards. To Check IIFT 2020 result students can log in to official website of IIFT-NTA using their application number and password.

IIFT 2020 Result Download

The IIFT 2020 exam was conducted on December 1, 2019 by NTA in an online mode in 41 cities at 86 centres. Around 35000 students took the exam this year. The difficulty level of the question paper was easy and admission cut-off is expected to be 105-108.

The score card of IIFT 2020 result will contain the following details:

1. Candidates name

2. Roll Number

3. Date of birth

4. Section-wise marks

5. Total marks

6.Sectional cut-off

7. Overall percentile

After the result is declared the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi will soon release the category wise cut-offs for essay writing, group discussions and personal interview round. The final result of IIFT will be declared in April 2020 after the completion of all the three rounds.

The result will be available on the official website of the institute and the NTA' s website.

To Calculate the IIFT 2020 Exam score:

IIFT score can be calculated on the basis of marks scored in each section of the question paper . The section on which the candidates are evaluated are:

1. Verbal ability and reading comprehension

2. Logical reasoning and data interpretation

3. Quantitative analysis

4.General knowledge

After the IIFT Result 2020

After the result of IIFT 2020 is declared the institute will release a merit list of candidates shortlisted for admission to MBA-International Business programme. The list consists of names and roll number of the candidates who are invited for the second round of IIFT admission that is essay writing, group discussion and personal interview. The candidates have to fill up the online form to participate in this round which includes the personal and work experience details.

The Essay writing, group discussion and personal interview round are conducted by IIFT in January/February 2020 at Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Mumbai.The schedule for this round of IIFT admission will be notified to the selected students via email.

The candidates of foreign/NRI/PIO for admission are accepted by IIFT on the basis of GMAT score. Students who belongs to this category can apply for IIFT admission till March 31,2020.

What's the counselling process of IIFT?

There is no counselling process of IIFT. The personality assessment test is conducted by the institute for the candidates who meet the IIFT cut-off for admission. This personality test conducted by institute consists of essay writing, group discussion and personal interview.

After when these rounds are completed the institute evaluate each candidate who took the IIFT test and participated in essay writing, GD and PI. Some of the key parameters are:

1. Class 10th and 12th score

2. Graduation score

3. Work experience

Below described the three of this assessment tests:

1. IIFT Essay Writing

IIFT essay writing is a 20-minute test in which student is given a topic to write a short essay. The students are divided in groups of eight. Each group get one essay topic, and they get 5 minutes to think and 15 minutes to write.

2. IIFT group discussion

IIFT group discussion is of 30-40 minutes in which group of candidates is given a topic to discuss pros and cons. In first round the candidate is allowed to speak on topic for one minute. After that the whole group is allowed to speak or do the discussion openly.

IIFT Personal Interview

In the personal interview the students are asked questions related to their work experience, hobbies and academic history. The PI is the real test of the students.
