B.Tech Programs

• Eligibility: Minimum 45% in PCM for General Category (40% for Reserved Category) in Class 12th
• Admission Criteria: JEE Main Scores

M.E Programs

• Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories)

  • Computer Science and Engineering - 18 seats

Admission Process

B.Tech Admissions:

1. Appear for JEE Main and secure a valid score.
2. Apply for centralized counseling conducted by DTE Madhya Pradesh.
3. Choose preferred courses and colleges during counseling.
4. If seats remain vacant, admission may be offered based on merit in 12th grade (PCM marks).

M.E Admissions:

1. Appear for GATE and secure a valid score.
2. Apply for DTE Madhya Pradesh Counseling.
3. Admission is granted based on GATE score and eligibility criteria.

Application Process:

• Register online on the official IIST website.
• Submit the required details and generate a bank challan.
• Deposit the application fee in the bank and upload the transaction details.
• For GATE applicants, a fee of INR 1500 (General/OBC) and INR 750 (SC/ST) must be paid.

Reservation Policy

As per Government of India norms, the following reservation criteria apply:

• Scheduled Castes (SC): 15%
• Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
• Other Backward Castes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer): 27%
• Persons with Disabilities (PD): 3%
