In addition to the full-time eligibility requirements, part-time MBA applicants must:
Have a minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience in a professional organization as of July 31 of the application year.
Work within a 40-kilometer radius of the institution they seek admission to.
Eligibility for Government MBA Seats: Karnataka State Candidates
To qualify as a Karnataka state candidate, one of the following conditions must be met:
The candidate must have studied and passed in government or government-recognized educational institutions in Karnataka for a minimum of 7 years starting from 1st standard to the qualifying examination.
The candidate must have completed SSLC/10th and 2nd PUC/12th standard examinations in Karnataka.
The candidate must have completed the qualifying examination in Karnataka.
At least one parent must have studied in government-recognized institutions in Karnataka for a minimum of 7 years.
The candidate is the child of an ex-serviceman who had declared Karnataka as their home state at the time of joining the defense services. A domicile certificate from the Deputy Director, Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement, is required.
Non-Karnataka candidates are eligible for government MBA seats only if vacancies remain after accommodating Karnataka candidates. All other eligibility criteria must be fulfilled.
