IBSAT Exam Overview 2026
The ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2026 is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad. The exam is designed for candidates seeking admission to MBA and Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) courses offered by ICFAI Business School (IBS) campuses across India.
IBSAT evaluates candidates' proficiency in English, reading comprehension, quantitative aptitude, data interpretation and analytical reasoning. The examination is an important admission route for management aspirants who wish to pursue postgraduate business education at IBS campuses. Candidates may also apply through alternative entrance exam scores, including CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC and GMAT, subject to the applicable admission criteria.
For the 2027–2029 academic session, IBSAT 2026 is scheduled across December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2026. The examination consists of 140 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 120 minutes, with one mark awarded for each correct answer and no negative marking for incorrect responses.
Candidates must meet the prescribed graduation eligibility requirements and complete the online application process within the applicable deadline. Admission generally involves consideration of the entrance exam score, followed by the prescribed selection process, including a micro-presentation and personal interview where applicable.
IBSAT scores are accepted across nine IBS campuses, including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jaipur and Dehradun.

₹10 crore scholarship announcement
IBS has announced 500 scholarships worth ₹2 lakh each for eligible candidates, subject to the applicable scholarship terms and conditions.

Mock test dates include September 26, October 24, November 21 and December 9, 2026. October and later sessions are upcoming as of October 9.
